The Last of Us 2 Actor Discusses ‘Big’ Intergalactic Role

Probably most known for his role as Jesse from The Last of Us Part 2, actor Stephen A. Chang recently discussed his role in Naughty Dog’s next game, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.

The Last of Us 2’s Stephen A. Chang teases role in Naughty Dog’s Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet

In an interview with Dexerto, Chang confirmed he had begun working on the upcoming game Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. While it seems he will be playing an integral role in the story, he says the studio is keeping things “very close to the chest.”

“What I know about it is probably as much as you guys, which I think is intentional,” says Chang.

“I saw the trailer, maybe a week before they released it. I didn’t really know what to expect,” Chang continues. “I have a friend who’s working on the game too. She’s like ‘Is this Last of Us Part 3 that we’re doing?’ So we didn’t even really know what we were getting into.”

Chang’s exact role is not known yet. However, his character can be seen in the reveal trailer for Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. It seems Chang’s character is part of a group called the Five Aces. This group also features characters portrayed by Kumail Nanjiani (Eternals), Tony Dalton (Better Call Saul), and Ashley Scott (The Last of Us Part 2). The main protagonist, Jordan A. Mun, is portrayed by Tati Gabrielle (HBO’s The Last of Us Season 2) and is also in the photo.

Chang expressed how surprised he was about his role in Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.

“When I was on set for my little thing, I was like ‘Oh shit, this is kind of a big deal, I’m the small fish here,'” Chang said.

Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is currently in development for PS5.
